This notice explains how personal data relating to visitors of lumierpiovan.it and people contacting Atelier Lumier are processed under Articles 12, 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Italian law.
1. Data controller
The Data Controller is Giovanni Piovan, professionally known as Lumier, based in Veneto, Italy.
Contact: atelierlumier.piovan@gmail.com · +39 327 541 3700.
2. Data processed
Browsing data
The systems used to provide the website may process technical data such as IP address, request date and time, visited page, browser, operating system and diagnostic information. These data are generally necessary to deliver and protect the website.
Contact-form data
When a visitor contacts the studio, the website processes full name, email address, subject, message and, when supplied, company or profession. Additional information is voluntary; visitors should not submit sensitive or unnecessary data.
Analytics data
Only after consent, Google Analytics 4 collects information about website usage, including pages viewed, navigation events, device data and online identifiers. IP anonymisation is enabled and Analytics is not used to serve personalised advertising.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing and protecting the website: the Controller’s legitimate interest in security and correct delivery, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Replying to enquiries and assessing commissions or collaborations: steps taken at the visitor’s request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Compliance with legal obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Measuring and improving the website through Google Analytics: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Consent is optional and may be withdrawn.
4. Providing data
Fields marked as required are necessary to submit and manage an enquiry. Analytics consent is optional, and refusing it does not restrict access to the website.
5. Processing and retention
Data are protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures and retained only as long as necessary. Enquiries are normally retained for no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law, a contractual relationship or the establishment or defence of legal claims. Security logs follow the hosting provider’s retention periods. Analytics-cookie durations are listed in the Cookie Policy.
6. Recipients and providers
Data may be processed by technical providers where necessary: website hosting and content delivery providers, FormSubmit for forwarding contact-form submissions to the studio’s mailbox, email providers and, after consent only, Google Analytics. Personal data are not sold.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where applicable, transfers rely on GDPR-recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where necessary.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Requests may be sent to atelierlumier.piovan@gmail.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your competent supervisory authority.
9. Updates
This notice may be updated to reflect changes to the website, its providers or applicable law. The date above identifies the current version.
